Does Honest Cleaning and Services (HCAS) require a minimum cleaning time for each appointment?
We do have a 1.5 hour minimum for all initial cleanings. Afterwards, appointments are available in 1.5-hour increments.
Can we set up recurring cleanings?
Yes, our ultimate goal is to earn your recurring business. We will also set up cleaning tasks on a rotational basis.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No, we do not require you to sign a contract to use our services. Your service may be cancelled any time, by giving at least 2-days notice prior to your next scheduled cleaning.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, please notify us at least 2-days before your service date. Cancellations or rescheduling within 48-hours or less will be charged a $35 cancellation/rescheduling fee.
What kind of products does the HCAS team use for cleaning?
Our products are vegan, cruelty-free, and sourced from zero-waste suppliers. They contain no animal products, are not tested on animals, are earth-friendly, biodegradable, and safe for your health and ours. We re-fill our supplies making our company zero-waste and only use 100% Pure Essential Oil Blends to ensure that there are no artificial fragrances or strong odours left behind.
What if I am not satisfied with my cleaning?
We strive to exceed all of our client’s expectations and offer a 100% client satisfaction guarantee. However, if you are not happy with our service for any reason, please let us know immediately and We will happily send a team member back to your location to resolve any issues.
Will I get the same cleaning team every time?
We do our very best to send the same team every cleaning. Although, this is not guaranteed, as our schedule is subject to change.
Do I or a member of my family need to be present during the cleaning?
Not at all. In fact, most of our clients prefer to have their home cleaned while they are away so that they can come home to a clean house.
What about our pets during HCAS cleaning?
During the cleaning service, we recommend that you do keep your pet in a separate section of the home where they will be comfortable — not all of our furry friends like the sound of vacuums or unfamiliar people in their space. Let us know how you would like to handle your pet ahead of time to keep them safe and happy. A quick relief walk or feeding may be arranged for an additional fee.
What areas of the Lower Mainland do you provide services in?
We are proud to provide services in Vancouver, North and West Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Delta, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Surrey and South Surrey, Langley, White Rock, Maple Ridge, and Chilliwack. Contact us if your neighbourhood is not on this list.
Is HCAS licensed, insured, and bonded?
Yes, we are fully licensed and insured. All of the HCAS team members undergo a thorough interview process, training, criminal record, and background checks before being assigned a team.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Cash, Interact eTransfer, PayPal, Square, Cheque, Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express).
